Service Description
San Ramon Roof Repair provides residential and commercial roofing services, including roof replacement, storm damage repair, roof repair, and routine maintenance. We also handle emergency roofing after heavy winter rainstorms or wind events common near Mount Diablo. Our crew performs tear-off, recover, or overlay depending on your roof deck condition. We use self-adhered underlayment, ring-shank nails, and proper starter course and field course installation with staggered courses for durability.
We do not guarantee that any specific roof will last forever. Hot, dry summers and foggy mornings with coastal moisture stress materials. Granule loss, end-of-life wear, and rot can happen despite quality work. We will be honest about what your roof needs.
Estimates and Pricing
All estimates are free and valid for 30 days. We inspect your roof, measure the square footage, and provide a written quote. Pricing depends on materials, pitch, accessibility, and whether we need to replace decking due to rot or decay. We do not charge for estimates, and we never pressure you to sign immediately.
If you accept our estimate, we start work after you sign the contract and pay the agreed deposit. Final payment is due upon completion. We accept checks and credit cards. If you notice a discrepancy between the estimate and the final invoice, call us within 7 days.
Warranty
We back our workmanship with a warranty that covers leaks caused by our installation errors for a period stated in your contract. Manufacturer warranties on materials apply separately. We will help you file a claim if a shingle defect appears, such as widespread cracking, blistering, or granule loss. But we cannot warranty against damage from severe storms, falling branches, or improper maintenance by the homeowner.
To keep your warranty valid, you must address any issues we flag during annual inspections. Water that seeps and wicks along the decking will erode structural integrity over time. That is not a workmanship issue.
Payment Terms
Deposits are non-refundable once materials are ordered or tear-off begins. If you cancel after we have started, you owe for work completed and materials purchased. We accept payment by check, credit card, or bank transfer. Late payments may incur a 1.5% monthly finance charge. If we must send your account to collections, you agree to pay reasonable collection costs.
Cancellation Policy
You may cancel a signed contract within 3 business days for a full refund of your deposit, as long as no work has started and no materials have been ordered. After that, cancellation fees apply as described in your contract. Weather delays do not count as a breach of contract by either party. We will reschedule as soon as conditions are safe.
Liability Limitations
San Ramon Roof Repair is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from our work, including interior water damage if you fail to report a leak promptly. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific repair. We carry insurance, but you agree to give us a reasonable opportunity to fix any defect before filing a claim.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Contra Costa County. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. This is the entire agreement between you and San Ramon Roof Repair.
